when infants attack!
here we see the infant blissfully engaged in its natural habitat (the living room)…
wait, it’s spotted our camera man….
oh god! it’s going after him!
run! for god’s sake man, run while you can! it’s about to pounce!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
while the loss of our cameraman is tragic, just look at that magnificent beast…

Yes, yes, they’re cute in teh wild, but then they grow up to be big kids (or something). That look of determination has got to be a healthy sign.
Also, I got nailed from some long-forgotten Connecticut offense at about the same you did. In my case, it was a forgotten bill that never got forwarded to me when I moved out (eight years ago). I wonder if they’re strapped for cash, or maybe bored. The bastards.

he’s definately determined.
i actually had a warrant out for my arrest in new jersey, once. i’d gotten a speeding ticket on the garden state parkway, driving down to visit my grandma. didn’t bother to pay it right away, but since i was in college at the time, they sent to ticket to my parent’s house. who then nagged me to pay it. so i did. 5 or 6 years later, they send me a letter saying there is a warrant out for me. what the fuck? turns out i had just paid the ticket, but not the $10 late fee. yes, the state of NJ apparently thinks it worthwhile to arrest someone for owing them ten bucks. well, by then they wanted 50 bucks, but still. ridiculous.

paraphrasing Rilke:
“Cute is only the beginning of the terrifying”

the speed at which he can move is certainly terrifying.

Can it be? That he’s gotten even more beautiful over the past three months?
I bet you’re loving this age, so much fun (but still unable to climb outta that crib - ah, those were the days)
Your “attack” theme reminds me of that big ole’ cute stunt bear that was in the news today. Did those teeth come in yet, by any chance?

he’s got five teeth, and they’re all sharp. definately going to be a climber though. he always wants to go up, up, up.

My favorite age…those months from when they sleep through the night and haven’t yet learned to walk.
